In November 2024, Conscious Touch Teams began training the first 35 CTT volunteers to provide Conscious Touch in Bay Area nursing homes.

Teams of two or more volunteers serve only residents (and/or their legal agents) who consent to Conscious Touch.

Teams are trained in supportive nurturing touch, infection control, and abuse prevention.

All volunteers are background checked, fingerprinted, and TB tested.

For the protection of residents, volunteers work only in teams.
